Software Components

When you download ClickMeIn™, the following software components are installed on your PC

Installation Directory

ClickMeIn™ default installation itself in Program Files\ClickMeIn, Under start menu\ClickMeIn, the temporarily directories and windows\system32 directory for settings.

ClickMeIn™ Remote Engine

sophisticated engine that captures the PC screen, transmits data and receives keyboard strokes and mouse movement and clicks from the remote device. You can see RemoteEngine in the task manager, under processes, named RemoteEngine.exe and RemoteEngineHelper.exe, under services as ClickMeIn RemoteEngine Service and windows firewall under the name ClickMeIn Remote Engine.

ClickMeIn™ Connectivity

ClickMeIn™ is using advanced technology to make sure you can connect to your computer, no matter where it is. It will also use your free bandwidth to help other PCs to get connected. You can see Connectivity in the task manager, under processes, named Connectivity.exe under services as ClickMeIn Connectivity and windows firewall under the name ClickMeIn Connectivity.

ClickMeIn™ Automatic Updater

ClickMeIn™ is making sure you have the latest version with constant bug fixes, for that, we run ClickMeIn Updater every 24 hours or each time you log in to your PC. You can see Updater in the task manager, under processes, named ClickMeInUpdater.exe under Scheduled Tasks under the names ClickMeInUpdate and ClickMeInUpdateLogin

Control Toolbar

The control toolbar is installed on your PC’s browser(s) for easy management and operation of the product.
